Suma Din started out as a playwright with her best friend, at the age of 6. It was a short-lived career, abandoned after the Queen declined her invitation to see one of their plays. This was the finest Royal Mail in the street’s history. Two years later, intrigued by reality, she turned to diary writing. This fascination developed into writing non-fiction books for women and children. Her key subjects of interest are women’s spirituality, families, global citizenship and educational resources about Islam for the UK and overseas markets.
Suma studied English at UCL. She lives in London with her husband and three children. She teaches in the Adult Learning sector and is currently studying for an MA in Social Justice and Education.
