Revive Your Heart is a call for spiritual renewal and an invitation to have a conversation with one of the world’s most recognisable voices on Islam, Nouman Ali Khan.

This collection of essays is disarmingly simple, yet it challenges us to change— to revise our actions, our assumptions, and our beliefs so we can be transformed from within, as well as externally. It aims to help modern Muslims maintain a spiritual connection with Allah and to address the challenges facing believers today: the disunity in the Muslim community, terrorists acting in the name of Islam, and the disconnection with Allah.

These challenges and more are tackled by Nouman Ali Khan, with his profound engagement with the Qur’an, in his trademark voice that is sought out by millions of Muslims on a daily basis.

Nouman Ali Khan is recognised as one of the world’s most influential Muslims, not only in the West. His deep and profound bond with the Qur’an, the Muslim holy book, is at the heart of his work and the focus of his teachings, which manage to reach out to millions of Muslims, from many different countries. You know you’ve read a good book when, as soon as you’ve finished it, you go back to the beginning and start reading again,
I already expected Revive Your Heart to be a fantastic read, and upon reading it, I found that it was even better than I had anticipated.
The book was relatable in more ways than one. I was reading, and at the same time, I was hearing the author speak to me. The informal nature of the text also made a nice change.
All of the reminders in the book are extremely relevant – and some parts felt as if they were literally written to me! I can honestly say that the messages imparted by the author have a relevant, real-life significance in the current age. I specifically enjoyed reading the chapter on Connecting to Allah through Du’a, and since reading the book, these words come back to me each time I make dua. I also liked the explanations of the Arabic that were included, which really helped to illustrate the points that were being made.
I’d definitely recommend giving this book a read… it is full of excellent, apt advice and reminders that will benefit you in your day-to-day life, inshaAllah.

I received this book from Kube Publishing a week ago.
When I knew that Nouman was publishing a new book I got very excited. As a lot of you know, his khutbas always provide a lot of information and food for thought. This feels like a compilation of some khutbas (13 chapters) and it’s a really easy read yet very informative. I could not put it down since the minute I got it.

The book is structured in 5 parts that examine du’a, community, finance, some contemporary issues and thoughts on the akhira.

It does help you put your life in perspective. I feel like for a lot of us, young muslims specially in the West, it is easy to be distracted with our daily lives and forget about investing in our spiritual knowledge and become better citizens / muslims. This is what I felt this book helped me with. I think anyone over 16 should read this book at least once.
Nouman speaks about different Ayas of the Quran and explains them, not only translating them but giving historical context and clarifying the linguistics so that we can understand what each verse is saying and how it can help us.
